- All payment remittance files, both electronic and paper, are reconciled before they are sent to the provider for posting
- EOB Pro converts all incoming EOBs containing multiple patient accounts to individual images. If necessary, the user can export the image into the patients’ folder in their image system
From a provider perspective, EOB Pro is a system designed to speed the posting process by reducing clerical involvement.
From a banking perspective, EOB Pro is an extension of a bank’s current lockbox service. Banks that have provider clients are given additional reporting access for purposes of monitoring their clients’ activity. EOB Pro is available whether or not your bank is a covered entity.
