Control Exception Console
Control Exception Console presents comprehensive interactive reports for those Compliance tasks with remediation and exceptions and highlights critical issues about high risk controls and enables management to direct corrective action. The Console delivers graphical display of compliance phases and associated exceptions and enables problem-sorting by business unit, accounting process, and accounting sub-process, as well as risk levels to guide priorities. The Control Exception Console drill down capability to underlying control activity exceptions provides management with transparency of control design and control operational effectiveness and enables prompt decisions on ineffective, incomplete internal controls and exceptions for Sarbanes-Oxley, GRC, and CSR compliance process management.
Multi-Dimensional Scoping Manager
Multi-Dimensional Scoping Manager evaluates controls to categorize testing as either in-scope (requires testing) or out-of-scope (no test required) based on business, financial, or other rules configured by the user. Tests which would not have a material impact on the financial statements are automatically removed from Compliance certification. Management can employ qualitative judgment to include (or exclude) certain tests in scope, or further reduce compliance tasks by removing tests on additional low-risk controls. The Scoping Manager focuses compliance efforts and resources on the most appropriate controls and can reduce ongoing compliance time and costs by 20% to 40%.
