Automated Archive
ReconNET provides a configurable and automated way to:
- Identify data to archive through a configurable, easy-to-use interface
- Copy the identified data to a data warehouse which has an easy-to-use reporting interface that allows authorized users to easily search and report on archived data
- Purge archived item information from the ReconNET production database
This functionality allows you to maintain item and audit information to address both your archive policies and high-volume performance needs.
The ReconNET Archive copies the items, along with their audit trail, from the ReconNET production database to the Archive database. To accomplish this, all linked data (e.g., account, serial, etc.) is also copied to the archive database. The Archival process can be automated to ensure that the archive process is done on schedule, and that data is purged from production regularly.
