With a focus on connecting Trintech’s global workforce and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, Erinn Gray, VP of Global HR at Trintech, enjoys promoting wellness activities that get Trintechers moving.
On May 1st, Trintech started its third walking challenge, a global competition to encourage Trintechers to participate in health-related activities with the help of a step challenge program supported by Walker Tracker. Walker Tracker is an app that can be connected to wearable fitness devices or smartphones that track an individual’s steps and physical exercise. Trintechers are challenged to log their activities to earn points. Additionally, they can earn extra points by tracking their moods and daily sleeping habits. To keep things interesting, Erinn and her team added another incentivization, where, at the end of the challenge, the two Trintechers with the highest activity logged will win a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.
“Challenges like this program help facilitate global participation and culture, which is something we strive for as a company,” Erinn Gray commented when asked the reasons she loves the Mindful Movement challenge. “Last year’s winning team in the team-based challenge had a total of 2,230,092 steps. We gave away 8 Apple iWatches and 2 $50 gift cards to winners from Oslo, Stockholm and the U.S. With the added incentive this year, we hope to see an even higher participation rate, and perhaps a London winner!”
Trintech’s continued efforts to better its employees’ wellness and health is evident with the company’s ongoing investment in programs like this.
