BLOG: Live Update from the Customer Conference – DAY THREE!

And in the words of Gloria Gaynor… I will survive…

That particular song was not at our Conference party last night, but we have some hidden talent in our clients as they (not always willingly) took the Sing or no Sing challenge last night at the fabulous LUX Nightclub at the M Spa & Resort to belt out some real classics. There were some great costumes on show and you can check out some of the pictures on our Facebook page.

There were prizes for the best gambler, lots of competition there as we are in Vegas, and the Whiskey tasting was a great success with The Macallen 18 being the clear winner, who knew I would not be the only Scottish export at our party!

We had the Rhythm going and Finance in full flow fun mode.  As Carmen Patton from Carlisle Corporation said to me this morning “Nobody throws a party like Trintech.”

On a “Get Down to Business” note…

In our educational session on Cloud and Hosting earlier, everyone agreed that Cloud is a key Technology solution that delivers fast ROI and great value to globally dispersed organizations.

Trintech has the highest security standards including but not limited to SSAE16 Type II audits, ISAE 3402, SOC 1,2 & 3 and conducts penetration tests and frequent security audits to ensure our clients, operating in more than 150 countries, hitting our servers 1.2 million times a day, conducting 40 million application transactions a month do so with no downtime!

As Greg Belmore our SAAS mid market director for sales and support said “Every client in the cloud benefits from Trintech managing and supporting clients in all aspects of IT application support, 24×7, 365 days a year. We partner with best of breed enterprise class providers to ensure upgrades are seamless to our clients and we manage security for them.  our clients, dispersed across the globe,  benefit from our partnerships with leading experts such as Akamai where they have delivered an improvement to general latency of between 80and 90% through connectivity and route optimization.”

… The Journal Entry session  was just completed, a little over time but lots of questions which we love to see at Conference. Clients heard from Siemens who have over 20 ERP’s and more than 50 legal entities that they are considered World Class after automating Reconciliations and Journal Entry and working with Trintech is helping Siemens get to the next level i.e. Business Partner

“Siemens took one day out of the close cycle after implementing Journal Entry into our Reconciliation process. creating the JE during the preparation of the Reconciliation is a real time saver as well as delivering more accurate entries to the ERP so less journals have to be reversed and reworked.” Karen Talley, Siemens

Mead Johnson talked about scope to launch in 95 days and how they are seeing efficiency improvements which allowed them to remove some systems from the process.

“Validation is now automated and posting is immediate, errors are re-mediated in the system and we have cut our JE posting time in half.” Tony Salpietra,  Mead Johnson

On a final note…

What a fantastic Conference we had this year! A special thank you to our sponsors, our partners, presenters and Trintech staff who worked tirelessly for months to make this the best Conference yet. Also, thank you to our customers! Your participation, insight and passion energized us all!
