Q: Jessica, can you introduce yourself and explain the challenges Texas A&M AgriLife faced before implementing Trintech?

A: My name is Jessica Lee, and I’m the Director of Software Platforms for Texas A&M AgriLife. A lot of people don’t realize that Texas A&M AgriLife is its own entity within the broader Texas A&M System. We’re made up of three primary areas – research, extension, and Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory – and we’re one of about 19 agencies under the system umbrella.

Before Trintech, one of our biggest challenges was managing unmatched and outstanding items. It was extremely time-consuming, and we lacked clear visibility into what those items looked like across the organization.

Prior to having Trintech in place, it always felt like we were chasing items instead of resolving them.
