Brittany likes to say she’s from Texas, but she was actually born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Still, she got here as fast as she could and never left! She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Communication degree and worked at a couple of small companies before she came to Trintech. A few months ago, she joined the team as a Customer Success representative.
Shannon: Brittany! Congratulations on your Spotlight selection. Nice to see you again!
Brittany: Thanks! Nice to see you, too.
Shannon: You’ve been at Trintech a few months now; how do you like it?
Brittany: I really like it here! I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Our customers often call in with very detailed questions, but being challenged is how I learn best. Trintech is growing, so there’s a lot of opportunity, but we still have that small company feeling. There are new faces joining the team all the time, but I feel like my voice is easily heard, and I can make an impact here.
Shannon: You joined Trintech when we expanded our Customer Success department. Can you tell me a little bit about your role?
Brittany: Sure, essentially we are here solely to support our customer’s journey. In my role, I’m responsible for all of the day-to-day account management-related needs of our customers. I work closely with our customers during their subscription renewal period, but I also connect them with the right resources within Trintech any time they need assistance. I can answer questions about their contract, services, products and more. In addition, when our customers have any concerns, I am their key point of contact and they know I’m working on a solution.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to get all your questions answered from outside an organization if you don’t know where to go or exactly whom to contact. I track down answers to all of my customers’ different questions, no matter what it involves, and follow up with them along the way to let them know how things are going. At Trintech, we work side-by-side with the Account Development team to ensure that our customers are having a great experience with Trintech.
Shannon: That really does sound helpful. I’ve been on the other side of the phone and calling into a company and getting a person that can help you at all can be a real challenge. What makes you successful in your job?
Brittany: I’m very task-oriented, so I really like working with our customers on a variety of tasks. I have a lot of contact with our customers and I enjoy answering their questions to make sure they are getting the most out of everything we have to offer. And, I’m not just working for a paycheck; I want to contribute in everything I do. I want to make the place I work better than when I got there. I keep that overarching goal in mind, so even if I’m having a tough time, it makes it easier because I’m not focused on just getting through the day.
Shannon: Wow, Brittany. Those sound like wise words. What do you do for fun?
Brittany: I like to hang out with my friends. I like to read books – just the regular stuff. I also like to look through Groupon for new activities and try them out.
Shannon: Groupon adventures! That sounds fun. What was your favorite Groupon experience?
Brittany: For my boyfriend’s birthday, I found a wheel-spinning pottery class.
Shannon: Interesting…what did you make?
Brittany: I made a vase and a cup. They aren’t bad, but they didn’t turn out the way I expected.
Shannon: I bet it is harder than it looks. That is a great story! Thank you so much for talking with me today.
