Order Entry Specialist
Our high-growth technology company is in search of a high-performing, reliable Order Entry Specialist to join our accounting team and help enable and accelerate our growth. This position will report directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager and has responsibility assisting the Billing Supervisor with the order entry and invoicing of our services.
To succeed as an Order Entry Specialist, you should have a strong attention to detail, possess excellent research skills, have exceptional communication skills, and be an overall team player. The ideal candidate understands billing accuracy is imperative to the business and is willing to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Review customer contracts (domestic and international) for proper subscription setup and prepare billing schedules
• Ensure timely billing of new and recurring customer contracts and work to reduce billing errors and invoice adjustments
• Continuously evaluate and improve the billing processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and productivity
• Mange, research, route and resolve external customer inquiries related to invoicing, as necessary
• Reconcile customer accounts when necessary and work closely with Sales, A/R, and the Revenue Team to resolve invoice issues
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external customers through effective communications
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Adhere to and enforces company policies and procedures
• Complete ad-hoc responsibilities as required
