Teresa Mackintosh is the CEO of Trintech, and has over 20 years of experience working with the Accounting, Tax and Finance functions of companies world-wide, helping them to be a catalyst for organizational innovation.
Mackintosh began her career as a CPA at PwC and has since held several senior leadership roles in the finance and accounting space. She has experience serving a multitude of business units across Thomson Reuters with responsibilities ranging from product development to general management. Prior to joining Trintech, Mackintosh served as Chief Executive Officer at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting in the U.S. She has been recognized several times on both of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting,” and “Most Powerful Women in Accounting” lists over the last decade. In addition, she was named as an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 award winner in the southwest region and listed as one of the “Most Powerful Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth” in D CEO’s Dallas 500. Mackintosh received both her BBA and MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Darren Heffernan joined Trintech in 2001, and has held a number of strategic and corporate development roles during his tenure. He has been instrumental in driving significant growth throughout the company in both its tenure as a public and private company.
Heffernan has spent over 25 years in finance and operational roles driving innovation with companies such as GE, Paramount / Universal studios, IAWS and Anglo American.
Prior to Trintech, Heffernan served as the European Reporting and Treasury Manager at GE Money for its Equipment Finance business. Heffernan is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and sits on the Financial Executives International’s (FEI) Committee on Finance & IT (CFIT).
David King is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Trintech, and has over 25 years of experience in marketing, product management, sales and development, enabling enterprises around the world to better serve their customers. His last 5 years have been focused exclusively on working with Accounting, Tax and Finance functions to streamline their workflows and leverage best in class technologies.
King has held several senior marketing leadership roles in companies providing software solutions including most recently Wolters Kluwer, Concurrent Computers and NEC. In the past ten years he has held various positions leading global and domestic organizations in the USA, Europe and Asian markets.
King received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Acadia University and his MBA from the University of Ottawa’s School of Business.
Robert Michlewicz joined Trintech in 2011, and has over 20 years of experience working with public and private companies in managing corporate reporting and compliance requirements. As Chief Revenue Officer, he is responsible for driving integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions across all global distribution channels for Trintech.
Michlewicz is an authority in the areas of disclosure management and regulatory compliance and assisted the SEC with the establishment of its initial online filing efforts, working with companies through SOX 404 and XBRL mandates.
His previous leadership experience includes SVP, Director of Business Development Capital Markets & Compliance at RR Donnelley (NYSE: RRD) and Bowne & Co.(formerly NYSE: BNE), where he had responsibility for IT, marketing, staffing, strategic partnerships and P/L for the Compliance and Capital Markets segment of the organization. Other significant leadership positions include serving as President, South Region at Bowne & Company and President of Chas. P. Young Co.
Lars Owe Nyland is the Managing Director of Europe, leading Trintech’s business functions in the region including sales, marketing, customer success and G&A functions.
Nyland has more than 20 years of experience in leading positions within sales and marketing in different markets such as IT, Retail, Telecom and Finance. Prior to joining Trintech, Nyland was the CEO of Adra Software, a company that Trintech acquired in 2017 as the foundation of our Mid-Market solution.
Nyland was trained in the Norwegian Army as an officer where he studied electronics and specialized in IT-operations.
Michael Ross is the Chief Product Officer at Trintech, and has over a decade of executive product management experience working in all components of B2B Cloud Software solutions with specializations in portfolio product management, pre/post acquisition integration, IT strategy development and execution and global project management.
Ross is a leader with a proven track record of leading teams that deliver profitable solutions that delight customers. His recent experience has been focused on turning around business and product lines/teams to deliver profitable growth in the face of highly competitive markets.
His previous leadership experience includes Vice President of Global Product Management at ECi Software Solutions, where he led the product management team spanning 7 industries in the USA, Europe and Australia.
Derick Schaefer is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Trintech, leading its software engineering, cloud operations, information technology, and information security functions. Schaefer has spent over 25 years in a variety of software leadership roles including the last 10 years running large scale SaaS and PaaS operations.
Prior to joining Trintech, Schaefer led engineering, information security, and compliance for Silicon-Valley based Digital Insight (an NCR Company) who provided online banking and mobile solutions for community financial institutions.
Schaefer received his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from The University of Miami.
Leo Yancey is the Chief Customer Officer, leading Trintech’s global Professional Services and Customer Support operations.
Yancey has spent the bulk of his career in the Account/Tax Software industry. Before joining Trintech, he spent over 20 years with Thomson Reuters in a number of commercial and operational roles, including market segment leadership, acquisition integration, customer service leadership and sales leadership. Prior to that, he has experience in the corporate tax department of a Fortune 500 company and in public accounting.
Yancey has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
